She was the second woman that won the Nobel Peace Prize. She won it even when she was considered a security problem for the United States of America.  She was label a threat because she try to maintain the peace before the World War I.  She spoke for the ones in need and gain a lot of followers.  She convince people to donate money and help the sick children. And she did all that in the 1930's a time when the freedom for women weren't that much and that woman's name was Jane Addams.

My name is Nahomy, I am a high school student and I am learning English as a foreign language. I believe Jane Addams really deserved to win the Noble Prize for all the effort she made to maintain peace for all of us.
